It is my birthday today

Merry Christmas to each of you and Happy Birthday Baby Jesus!

I got up early to see if Santa drank his milk and ate his cookies. He sure did!!! Then I noticed the presents he left under the tree for me. I woke Daddy, Noni, and Papa up. Everyone had fun watching me open my presents. I got books, V-Tech Alphabet computer, Tomater truck, Sleeping bag, bath stuff and whole bunch of other things to junk up the house. We ate breakfast and I played. Noni and Papa went home to rest up for tonight. Eventually, Mommy and Daddy got me to take a nap. I woke up and we went to Papa and Noni's for more presents. While I was there Aunt Joy stopped by to give me gifts from her and Aunt Diane. Then, Bep Bep came over.
I had already opened my gifts. I got alot of neat stuff but had two favorite ones. Papa made me a beautiful Bowie knife and just didn't know what to say. Mommy said it was the best knife he's ever made. That make 3 knives he's made me! Then, just when I thought the fun was over Noni said I had one more gift. We went into her office and Papa uncovered a 4-wheeler!!! I just looked at it - then I stuck my tongue out. I had no idea what to do. It was a super cool gift. We took it outside for me to ride in their yard. We ate snacks and some yummy ham then my birthday cake. Thank you Noni and Papa for another wonderful Christmas.

It is Christmas Eve

Luke this is your Mom talking. I have been thinking all afternoon about where I was 4 years. I was in the hospital getting ready to have you!!! I always get a little sad this time of year- thinking of how quickly you are growing up. Daddy drove me to the hospital after talking with Dr. H on the phone. He decided that we just couldn't wait till the day after Christmas it was time to evict you. You were causing me to be way too sick. We went to Noni's house but didn't stay to long since we were told to head to Labor and Delivery. I was so scared when Daddy and I left there. BepBep was there with Noni and Papa and they all told us they would be happy to have a baby on Christmas. Daddy was supposed to be doing the readings in church on Christmas morning but he told BepBep to get someone to cover if she could. The closer we got to the hospital the more I was ready to see your face and find out if you were a boy or a girl.

You were doing fine but I wasn't. So, the doctor induced labor and it was a long night. Well, I asked to see BepBep and Uncle Heaffer and they came back for 5 minutes. Heaffer was scared so he left our room real quick. When Aunt Sandy got there she just made herself at home and walked through the doors and camped out in our room for quite a while. Everyone was showing up but the nurses wouldn't let people back to see me cause I was too sick. Your Daddy was a great labor coach and I know he was starving but he didn't want to leave me. Noni was in the room too and I could tell she was worried. Dr. H was in and out all afternoon and throughout the night. I kept telling him I was sorry and he just laughed- part of the job for him. Finally after a long night he walked in the room at 5:28AM on Christmas Morning and said let's have this kid. People were rushing around, Daddy was putting his scrubs on, Noni was crying, I was happy and scared all at the same time. At 6:00AM Dr. H said, "It's a boy" and the rest is history. That was the best day of my life.
This year Noni and Papa will be here to go to Mass with us and give thanks for all the wonderful gifts we have. They will spend the night at our house. Tomorrow morning you will wake up to discover that Santa Claus came to see you!!

Happy Birthday Taterbug and Merry Christmas!!!!

Love-
Mommy and Daddy

A trip to Uncle Roberts & a trip to the ER

We went to Russellville last night and I was excited the entire day about it. Uncle Heaffer came to pick us up. Jilli and I rode in the back and watched a movie. I was enjoying telling everyone about the baby in Mom's tummy. It seems everyone wants a girl but everyone thinks it is another boy. One thing is for sure, no matter what this baby is, everyone is excited and will love it as much as me. Wait a minute.... as much as they do me, no way!!! We played in the shop for awhile and then it happened, I got sick. I went up to Mommy and needed her to hold me. I'd get better for a few minutes then I'd need Mom again. We left and it was a long ride home. Mommy sat in the very back with Jilli and me because I was crying. It was a long nite with me running a high fever. Mommy and Daddy took good care of me.

Then this morning Mommy called the nurse on call and told her what was going on. She thought they would call me in some medicine but they didn't. The nurse said it sounded like I needed to have a chest x-ray and to go to the ER. We waited around there about half of the day and I have NEW- MOAN-YUCK...... hee hee. I got blood drawn (Alot of blood drawn) and I didn't even cry!!! Then, there was that big ole shot in my butt and I did cry for that. Overall, everyone was very proud of me. I will be better soon, I hope and pray.

I'm on vacation from preschool....

Mom picked me up today and I had all kinds of neat treats from my teachers. They are so sweet and I love my new school more each day. I am proud to tell everyone that I am a St. Joe Bulldog. If you tell me that I am "crabby" I will say, "no I'm not I'm a St.Joe Bulldog".

Mommy was concerned yesterday about my yucky sounding cough so we are going to the doctor . Mom is scared that I will get sick over the holiday/weekend. She talked to the doctor about it but she said it might just be a little cold but I will be fine in 2 days. Mommy doesn't think so but $20 later we were home with no medicine or anything. Tune in this ain't the last of this story.....

Get dressed without fussing

I love me some Root Beer....................

Playing with Laney

Today when Mommy picked me up from school she said that we could go somewhere to eat lunch with Mrs. Diana, Laney, and Haven or we could pick it up. Much to Mom's surprise I said I wanted to eat it at their house. So we picked up some lunch at Arby's and that way I got to play with Laney and Haven. Once we got there I told Laney my news about being a big brother. However, when Mommy asked me to tell them what I wanted to name our baby I said, "Haven". After she thought about this Mommy wasn't surprised. I love baby Haven but sometimes I make Mom nervous around her. I guess Mom has a lot to learn and I heard her tell someone that I would drive her crazy "mothering" my little brother or sister. I
have already said I want to help with feeding, bathing, rocking, and playing. NO SHOOIE DIAPERS though! Could I possibly bug the baby as much as I do Rudy??

I have some big news!!!!!!!

Today my Mommy went to the doctor and found out that there is a baby in her tummy. When Daddy and Mommy told me, I grinned from ear to ear then kissed her belly. I promised the baby that I would be the best big brother in the world to my "girl baby". Daddy mentioned that God might bless us with a boy baby- but I didn't really like that idea!! I want a baby like Baby Haven.

However, I agreed that any baby we bring home with us will be wonderful. Daddy told me that the baby would live in the guest room which is my old nursery. I got upset and asked him "why can't the baby come out?" He said that it wouldn't be locked in there- whew I wasn't liking that. I asked a bunch of questions like when is is coming out, if the baby will come out of Mom's mouth, what it likes to eat. You know all the innocent precious little questions.

Then Daddy said they might need my help in naming the baby. I was jumping up and down on the couch by then. Daddy asked me if I liked the name "Cole"- I said no. Then he asked me if I liked the name "Rycho" that one is a joke- but I said it was a dinosaur name. Mommy moved on to the girl name and asked if I liked "Aniston" and I said No! I have the perfect name picked out - Baby Huffington!!! This is what I've been calling the baby all night. In case you don't know- it is off of the cartoon "max and ruby".

I was so excited and wanted to tell everyone. I asked to call Noni, BepBep and Aunt Sandy. I told each one a little different version of how we are having Baby Huffington- but they all got the same idea- I'm very excited.

When I was saying my prayers the first thing I did was thank God for "our new baby". Mommy and Daddy were thrilled. Baby- we will see you in July - you keep growing in there ok. May God Bless your little life.

My School Christmas Play

Tonight my class participated in a play at our church. I sang loud and proud. Mommy, Daddy, Noni, and Papa were there to clap for me. I wasn't shy in front of the crowd that was quite large. I was well behaved and minded my teachers too. They had already prepared Mom for the good singer that I am. I really got into singing "Rudolph". After it was over we had a reception at the Dining Hall. I got to eat brownies and cookies. Then, Santa Claus showed up to see us. I didn't cry while I sat on his lap and told him what I wanted for Christmas. He even brought me a present.

What a party!!

Today I celebrated my 4th birthday at Pump it Up Party in Little Rock. It was a blast. I was so happy to see my friends Laney, Haven, and Lexi. I was excited to see my cousins Jilli, Dylan, and Seth too. My Aunts and Uncles came and Noni and Papa. This party was beyond my expectations. I had fun jumping on all the things and opening presents with my friends. Thank you all for taking your time to come me, Daddy, and Mommy appreciate it and I love you all! Thank you Noni, and BepBep for helping Mommy with everything. I can't wait to start playing with my new toys.

Let's talk about who I'm gonna marry...

Tonight I told Daddy that I'd just go ahead and marry Mom. He told me that he was already married to Mommy. I got upset and went and told her. Then, she reminded me that I was going to marry Laney. I thought about it and said that I changed my mind and would marry Mrs. Diana instead. Mommy was laughing for some reason and asked why. I said, "because she is really pretty and knows how to make a pizza." Then Mom said that Mrs. Diana was already married too!!! Well, If Laney decides not to marry me maybe Haven will........ lots can happen in the next 20-25 years.

Daddy was trying on clothes

in the dressing room. Of course, I love to go into dressing rooms-they are so much fun! As always I usually have something to say. Daddy got his new clothes put on and I said, "wow Daddy you look great, you look like a working man."

What I said at Wal-Mart

Mommy and I were waiting in line for a prescription when I spotted a super duper tool bench up on a shelf. I immediately told Mom that I wanted it and even said that it cost about $3-4. She started laughing and said it cost more like $100. I said, "well we'd better let Papa get that then cause he has lots of money." The man checking us out was laughing and Mom was too. When we got in the car she wanted to know why I think Papa has so much money. "Because he has a tractor, a John Deere, and a grizzly 4-wheeler." She said that Papa didn't even have a full time job and I said, "he's a working man Mom and you know it." My little mouth is really something.

A day with Papa.

Papa had to get me up, feed and dress me for school. We did a good job since Mom had most everything laid out for us. She even had my muffins and chocolate milk made. I was taking my good ole sweet time getting ready so Papa had to "encourage" me along so we wouldn't be late. I showed him everywhere to turn and we made it fine. Papa picked me up and took me out for lunch and to Wal-Mart to buy toys. I talked him into an expensive tool set!!! Then it was time for a nap. Mommy promised that if I was a good boy she'd bring a pizza home and she did. I had so much fun with Papa and he said I was a good boy. Thank you for staying with us Papa!

It was a great day at the hunting club

with Daddy and Papa. Mom left early for school so Daddy and I headed out to meet Papa for a trip to the hunting club. We had a great time. I had one little accident and fell in a creek but it didn't have too much water in it. I did get wet and the guys had to strip me down naked and wrap me up in their coats. We were off to find a laundry facility so that they could dry my clothes. When I told Mom about it I was laughing but said that there were snakes, catfish, and a grey shark in this creek with 2 inches of water. Now that is pretty amazing huh?

We had a big lunch at Pizza Hut and of course we all know how happy pizza makes me. Papa came to spend the night at our house so that he can take care of me tomorrow. I can't wait for my mommy to get home. I miss her while she is in school.

We are going to be busy this week......

My Mom told me tonight that she is going to go to school a few days this week. But, she isn't going to get to play on a playground like me. That's sad isn't it???? I am going to be hanging out with Papa a lot and with Daddy too. I'll keep you posted on what we do. Today at school I got to put several pennies in the jar for singing loud. My teacher told Mommy that I learned my songs really fast. Mom keeps asking what the penny jar is for. When we do something good our teachers give us pennies for the jar and when it is full we get a donut or ice cream party in our classroom. I've contributed alot to the jar.

My elf has been hiding everywhere....

and today I looked and looked and couldn't find him. Mom told me to keep looking but I got frustrated- maybe because I'm not a morning person???? Anyway, I got go upset looking that Mom helped me and this is where he was- in my stocking.

Playing 'bite' with Rudy

This is a game Daddy and Rudy play all the time. I've tried my best to get Rudy to play with me and sometimes he will but not usually. It goes about the same as when I try to pick him up. Rudy is so scared of me, and I just don't know why. Doesn't he look ferocious?

Another good week at school

I got to bring the snack bucket home his week. That means that your Mommy fills it up with snacks and returns it to school the next day. Everyone loved my snack- oreos!

Also, we got to go to Mass with all the other kids on Wednesday. My teacher told Mommy that I was the only one in my class that didn't have to be corrected. You see, I know how to act in church and if I'm not good Mommy wears my little butt out when we leave. Aside from the occasional "Is it almost over yet?" I am a good boy in church.

We have been practicing for our Christmas program by singing lots of cool songs. It is really going to be neat. Santa Claus is coming for our program at church too.

This magical elf arrived at my house.

I'm calling him Michael. He showed up today after my nap while I was outside playing. He reports back to Santa each night while I am asleep. He makes it all the way to the North Pole and back to my house before I wake each morning. I am loving this and am totally mesmerized by it all. If I do something bad I will run to where the elf is and ask him if he saw/heard it. If I wake up in the middle of the night I will go look to see if he's gone. So far he has hidden on the clock, on the entertainment center, and on the curtain. I will keep you updated on where he is at- my special friend "Elf on a Shelf".

It is almost Christmas and my Birthday.....

Today is the day after Thanksgiving and apparently Mom and Dad work on decorations. Daddy got all the stuff down from the attic while Mom cleaned out a closet in the guest room. Then we put the tree up. I was super excited about it this year. I even got to help Daddy with the outside stuff. It was cold outside this morning and Mommy told me that means Santa Claus is getting ready to get presents together for good boys and girls. I will be 4 years old this Christmas. Mommy got a little emotional when hanging my special ornaments on the tree. You see, I was the first baby born on Christmas morning so Mommy and me got this super neat gift basket. It had several ornaments in it (stuffed ones) and each year Mom puts them on the tree (even though they don't match)! She says that was the best Christmas ever. Since I'm so smart this year and can understand more Mommy told me the story of how I was born on Christmas. I think that will become a tradition. I'm into making silling faces for the camera. It was hard for Mommy to get good pictures for our Christmas card.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

I woke up saying that this was a special day. And it was! Mommy, Daddy, and I lounged around till nap time. When I woke up, Noni and Papa came for a yummy Thanksgiving Dinner. Papa fried up a yummy turkey and Noni cooked a whole bunch of stuff too. Mommy made my favorite thing though- ROLLS!! We played and watched TV and then it was time for them to go home. It was a truly special day and can't wait for Christmas now.

Turkey Day Party

Today we had a Thanksgiving party at school. There were games to play and yummy cupcakes to eat. My Mommy got to come for it and I was introducing her to all of my friends. She had a good time helping me with my crafts, and playing games. I hope my friends don't eat too much Turkey.

I got to meet Zoie and Zeb today

at Aunt Sandy's house. Those are her new kitties. I love love love them and have been constantly talking about holding them. They are beautiful! They were a little scared of all the people around and Ann-Jillian and I chasing them out from under the couch didn't help. But, before we left I got to hold each one of them. I promised Mom that if I could have one just like them I would eat, keep my room clean, and go to bed without backtalking. Mom said NO! I'll put up some pics of them later okay. We celebrated Thanksgiving today and it was alot of fun. I ate some rolls and yummy ham. I have been talking about pumpkin pie for several weeks now but when it came down to it and it was orange I wouldn't eat any.... go figure.

Glow Golf

is pretty fun. You should try it sometime. After my nap we went to church, out to eat, and to Glow Golf. Mom and Daddy thought I would enjoy it and I did. They enjoyed watching me hit the ball backwards. But, you know me, I won't listen when people try to help and show me things. As usual, when Daddy tried to show me how to hold my club (I had it turned backwards) I'd say "I know how to do it by my ownself". Well, I had a good time anyway. I also got to pick out a movie on the way home. It was a great day.

I got to go to Papa's house today!!!!

I have been really mad at Papa since yesterday. Yesterday morning I asked Mom if we could go to Papa's house and she told me that he was still hunting but would be back later today. I said, "Well that is just wrong he is always hunting and trying to kill something. He should be at his house when I want to go there. It makes me sad when people aren't at their house when I want to see them." I ended up getting in trouble for going on and on about it. Mom lost her patience with me whinning. However, this morning she told me that she needed to go to Mrs. Kimberly's house to pick up my new pictures. Mom said that after school she would drop me off at Papa's while she went to get the pictures. This made me really happy. I got to ride for a little while and then BepBep came over to play. Mom took some pictures of me dressed up to use on our Christmas cards too. Noni got to run by and see me really quick cause she was at work. Thanks for the table and Play-Do Noni!

I'm a big Daddy Rooster....

I told Mom to grab the camera because I was a "big daddy rooster". She was cracking up at my outfit. In fact we were both laughing really hard while she was trying to take my picture.

This morning I surprised Mom by writing my numbers 1-5 all by myself without tracing. She was really surprised and didn't know I could do it. You see, I don't always cooperate when people try and teach me things. I will tell Mom that I don't know how to do it and she will show me. Then when she walks off I will do it all by my ownself and tell her to come look. I know all of my letters but writing them without tracing isn't going so well. Mommy will start teaching me with capital letters next week. Maybe that will help or it could be that I just need a new attitude.

My conversation with Mommy

Me: "I don't want to go to heaven unless Rudy will be there."
Mom:" Sure Rudy will be there, hopefully everyone we love will be."
Me: "Why did ya say Hopefully!?"
Mom: " Rudy will be there Luke".
Me: " Who cleans up his poop in heaven."
Mom: "I guess I will Luke."
Me: "What if he gets there first?"
Mom: "I'm not sure Luke someone will be there to clean it up."
Me: "Daddy says it is your job so I guess you better go first Mom!"

I had to go to school today

while Daddy got to be at home. You see he took off on Friday and today his work is closed so he's been home a lot. He didn't take me to school though- Mom and I did our usual routine. However, he did come with Mom to pick me up so we could all eat lunch together. We went to one of Dad's favorite places KFC. My Mom is so good about letting me and Daddy pick the places. Even though she wasn't thrilled with KFC she didn't complain. I was a little demon when we got there but I ate fairly good so there is always a bright side. Mommy and Daddy took me to the pet store after we ate but they didn't have kitties or puppies. Jilli got to come play for a little while after my nap so it was a good day!

What have I been up to?

Well, we've not been up to a whole bunch but I am staying busy. I had a great week in school last week. Friday Mom had to take me to the doctor because of my cough. She was starting to get scared it wasn't all asthma related. The doctor said I had to take some medicine but it's yummy so that's ok. I also got a big ole shot in my leg. If you ask me what kind of shot I will say that it is to keep a bug off of me. The FLU bug that is!! I didn't even cry because Mommy and the nurse were making me laugh. For being a good boy I got to go eat at Larry's Pizza Parade!

Saturday, Daddy and I went to the park and that was fun as usual. He found the right road the first try unlike Mommy who takes about 3 times. It is kinda hard to get around to but so worth it... We went to church and to eat at a new BBQ place but I like Smokehouse better and wasn't to quiet in saying so.

Sunday, Mom and I made a run to Kroger and then came back home and played with Daddy and Rudy. It was a great weekend. I love it when Daddy has extra days off to be at home with us. Mom told me that when I wake up in the morning Daddy will be here even though it is Monday.

Friday, November 9, 2007

Daddy got to take me to school today!!!!

For the first time by himself. I showed him everything even what street to turn on. He also got to witness getting me ready for school. Sometimes that isn't the best of times ya know. I hope he gets to take me to school one day again. Thanks Daddy!

Papa and I went to Laurel park

and it was pretty cold outside today. This morning Mommy asked me if I wanted to go to the park with Papa because she had to run an errand. My reply was, "Yes, that will be just fine Mama sounds like a great idea." I haven't wanted her out of my sight lately with my asthma acting up. When she mentions leaving I will say, "No, what if I need my air"? Me and Mom haven't gotten alot of sleep lately because of me having trouble breathing and coughing. It will pass just as soon as the weather stays cold though. My Mommy takes good care of me and I know it but sometimes I get real dramatic when she leaves me. I got some books at my school book fair and Papa was willing to read them to me today- thanks Papa!

My Daddy will be home tomorrow

and I will be really glad to see him. He is in Chicago for work. Today I told Mommy that the best thing about Daddy being in Chicago was that I got to eat a Kids Cuisine for lunch and dinner!! Then I told her that the other good thing was that prayer time didn't take as long. Mommy really cracked up at that one. During our prayers last night I told Mommy that it didn't take long without Daddy praying..... he he he.

Monday, November 5, 2007

I got to babysit baby Haven

for about 30 minutes. She was really missing her Mommy so we took her home. I love her and was trying to do everything that I could to make her smile. I rode my bike for her, gave her her passy, sang songs, tickled her, showed her about 50 of my toys. But, sometimes younger women can be difficult- well older women can too for that matter. I told Mommy at prayer time tonight that it would be great if we could just keep her all of the time. So, obviously her crying did not deter me from wanting to be a big brother. I am glad that Mommy snapped a photo right when we got home.

Sunday, November 4, 2007

I had a great time at the gun show.

Saturday- Daddy, Papa, and I went to Little Rock to a gun show. I was excited to go and was a really good boy for them. I was ready to go after about 45 minutes but that was a long time for a little boy. When we got home we took a nap cause the girls were still out shopping. They had a good time too.

Then, we went to church and to Outback for dinner. I love the bread there and ate a whole little loaf by myself. I was a pretty good boy till the end. Noni and Papa came back to my house to play. It was a great day.

Happy Halloween from TYRONE

I had a great time trick or treating in my neighborhood. We had a blast handing out candy too. I loved it and even said it needs to be Halloween every week. When Mommy woke me up from my 4 hour nap I said, "Mommy hurry go get your Halloween costume on." She said she wasn't wearing one- bummer. She said she might next year. Happy Halloween...

Luke Potts = Super Student

Today when Mommy picked me up from school, Mrs. Catherine walked me to the truck. Mommy wasn't so sure what she was about to say... ya know how that goes sometimes. But, it was a good report!!! I was awarded the "Super Student" award because of my good behavior. To get this coveted award you must: mind your teacher, be a good friend and helper, clean up your mess, assist your classmates as needed, say your prayers correctly. I was excited about this but not nearly as much as Mrs. Catherine or Mommy! Now, I just need to work on my behavior at home.

Another fun day

Today we got to go to the park, the one that Mom always gets us lost trying to find. I was super excited to have kids to play with. As soon as we got there Mommy's friend Jason spotted us. He was there with his wife, kids, twin brothers and their kids. So, we played ball with Daddy and all kinds of other neat things. I was glad that we got to go. Mommy and Daddy had just about as much fun as I did.

Thank you God, this was a great day

This morning when I woke up Mommy and Daddy said that we were going somewhere fun. I immediately started guessing: Playworld, chuck e cheese, the fair, Jump Zone......... then they told me it was to the Pumpkin Patch. I was excited because this time Daddy got to go. I had fun petting all the animals and going on the tractor ride to pick out the perfect pumpkin. We ate corndogs for lunch while we were there. Daddy LOVED the corndog best!!! I didn't want to leave but was good for Mom and Dad when they said "time to go".

When we got home I had to take a nap so we could go to church. After church, Daddy and I made a Jack-O-Lantern out of my special pumpkin. That was a lot of fun.

Tonight, when it was time for prayers Mommy and Daddy told me that I could say whatever it was that I wanted to pray for. Here is what I said: Please God let me get a grizzly, let Mommy get a good night sleep, let Daddy have a safe trip to "Cago" aka Chicago, God bless Rudy, Let me have a healthy day at school and be a good boy. I was soooo sweet saying my prayers tonight. I don't think Daddy and Mommy will ever forget it. Oh yeah, "Thank you God for a wonderful Day with my family."

I love it when my 4-legged brother gets a bath.

It is one of the only times that I get to love all over him without him running away.

Guess where I went today?

To Petsmart with Laney, Haven, and Mrs. Diana. My favorite part is watching the kitties. We had fun playing with the things that they chase on the outside of their cages. I was way excited when Mrs. Diana said they could come back to our house to play. We were a little high maintenance on our Moms today and we aren't usually. For some reason we both decided we wanted water to drink instead of Sprite after our moms had already gotten the Sprite of course. Laney loves to play guns with me, isn't she just the coolest chic around? No wonder I love her!

Tuesday, October 23, 2007

Oh No......

I may not be on here too much because Mommy accidentally knocked her laptop over and it is now dead. The screen broke. So, she has to borrow a pugger from Daddy. I'll help her update as much as I can.

Aunt Diane came over for enchiladas tonight. They were yummy and we all had a good time. I love having company over.

Monday, October 22, 2007

I went to the Pumpkin Patch

with my school on Monday. It was super neat. Mommy didn't think we would be going since it was raining at our house- so she was a bad girl and didn't bring our camera. I loved riding the school bus with Mommy. I got to play with my friends and pick out a great pumpkin. I keep asking Mommy if we can make some pumpkin pie.

I've been really busy this weekend

Friday, I went to school and was a good boy once again. After my nap we met Papa at our meeting place to start our sleepover. We had a blast- riding the tractor, 4 wheeler, going to the park. We went out to eat when Noni got home. I played so hard and had such a good time that I didn't want to go to sleep. Finally, I went to sleep and besides one small bout with my asthma had a good nite. Once, we woke up we were playing again. I helped Noni take care of my four-legged brother Rudy!! Mommy and Daddy came to pick me up after my nap Saturday evening. I'd been helping Papa cook deer and gravy. Everyone ate a good dinner and we played some more. Bep Bep came to play with me a couple times and I went to her house a couple times - It's always a blast when BepBep is around too! She had this cool little tractor that I was enjoying riding around in her driveway. She has some really neat hills that I can drive up and down. I had the best time EVER and can't wait to go back. Thank you Noni and Papa!

Mom will do just about anything.....I ask

Tonight, I asked Mommy if she would make her hair look like Laney's. She told me that she would- and she did. I loved it seriously and I even told her that I would be sad if she doesn't wear it like this all the time. Daddy was laughing so hard that I suggested a photo of Mommy. Daddy agreed this had to go on my blog.

The story: By Luke

Today Mommy tried her best to get me to take a nap. She wanted to read me a story but I told her that it was her turn to listen to a story. So, I made one up (Mommy does this for me sometimes). Here is how my story goes:

There was a little boy who was really smart his name was Luke. There was a man that wasn't very smart his name was Papa. No, wait Papa is smart just not as smart as Luke. One day they were riding on the Grizzly and Papa needed to get it into his trailor on his white truck. But, Luke couldn't ride up on the trailor with him because it might be hard for two of them to do. And, if they get hurt they will bleeded and Papa will have to take Luke to the emergency room. So, Luke waited and let Papa drive it up by his ownself. Then, they went inside Papa's house to eat them so "jorkey" aka jerky from the "cantelope" aka antelope that Papa killed while hunting in the "Cheyene Polka Palace" aka Wyoming. One the way home from Wyoming Papa put on "oderant" aka deodorant so he wouldn't stink like Daddy. The End.

What have I been up to you ask????

Well, Saturday Mommy and Daddy took me to the Rave in Little Rock for my first movie. We saw Sea Monster in 3-D and I loved it. Also, the popcorn, coke, and M & M's were popular too! I got to sleep in the bed with Daddy both Friday and Saturday nights. My Mommy stayed in the other room and got some good sleep.

On Sunday I woke up early and played with Daddy. We have been getting up early for school and unfortunately it has carried over to the weekend days. We met Uncle Heaffer, Julie, and Jilli for lunch at Market Place. Man their ice cream is good! Then, I took a cat nap and Jilli got to come bounce in my bouncer with me. We also colored and ran around in the yard. It was time for church before we knew it. I went to bed in my firetruck but didn't sleep well in there or with Mom. Must be allergies. I sure wore Mom out getting up every hour though.

I didn't get to go to the Pumpkin Patch with my school friends today because of all this nasty rain. They said we'd try again next Monday. I am UPSET about it too!

Because you stink Daddy

Tonight, I decided that I wanted Daddy to take a bath with me but he said "no". I asked him why and he said, "because I don't want to Luke." Then when I kept pleading he asked me why I wanted him to take a bath with me and this was my reply "because you stink Daddy". Mommy was about to fall off the chair laughing.

You would not believe how many times

I've had to smile today. First, we went to Mrs. Kimberly's house for my fall photo shoot and that took a while. Next, Mom had her camera out at Papa's and it just went on and on and on. So, I finally said "that's it Mom I am NOT smiling anymore". And I was screaming when I said this. Just wanted you to know.

Swingin with my girl......

I love it when Diana calls to see if we want to come over. I get to see Laney and Haven both!!! I love their swingset because it is different than mine. I like the slide and climbing wall on it too. We had a picnic under their garage on a blanket and it was a beautiful day. When Mommy asked me what my favorite part was I said, "taking turns playing baby with Laney"! Yep, that was funny...... When we got home I fought taking a nap quite a bit but finally went to sleep.

It was a fun weekend at the Potts house!!!

First off, Daddy got back from "Bagast" aka Vegas Friday night. I was really happy to see him but even happier to see the two cool guns he brought me. Mommy got some perfume too! We played guns all night. We stayed up late and unfortunately I woke up way early Saturday morning. Daddy tried to get me to go back to sleep since we were going with the boys to see the Hogs play in Little Rock. Daddy took me to get a haircut while Mommy cleaned up the house and now I have almost no hair at all........ Mommy wasn't happy with this haircut.

Before we knew it the boys were here and it was time to leave for my first Razorback game. I looked great with my jersey on. We went to eat at On the Border and then played around at the stadium. I was ready to leave the game by the end of the 1st quarter.. no big surprise because it had been a long day. I just wanted Dylan and Seth to come play at my house. We stayed for almost the entire game and the boys still got to play for awhile. It was midnight when I got to bed.

When I woke up Sunday morning I immediately wanted to call Papa to see if he made it back from Cheyenne. I couldn't wait to hear about the mule deer and "cantelope" that he killed. He told me I could come see him on Monday after school and my nap! Sounds good to me Papa see ya on Monday.

"Mom, we've got a big problem

a fly is in the house". I am getting more dramatic each day. Mom just cracked up when I said this to her. She said it was no biggie but I know how she hates flies in the house. I helped Mommy clean up today and then Noni came by for a visit. Noni always brings in a bag of stuff for me. This time she'd been to Bath and Body to get me a pumpkin handsoap and also a ghost soap. I love to wash my hands all the time. We learn about how important that is at school. Each week we are learning to write a new number. I am sick of practicing my letters so Mom is giving up on it for now. I am looking forward to Daddy coming home in two days! I've asked Mom to cook cheesburger pies for supper that night. I think she is................ yum.

What's up with Target?

Tonight while Mom was on the phone with Noni I ran up to her and started begging to go to Target right then.... Noni told Mom to get off the phone and take her Taterbug to Target. It was almost dark and Mommy didn't really want to go but she did anyway. I wanted to go see the toys, of course! I ended up getting one very small toy and Mommy got some things that she needed. It was a fun trip- thanks Mom!

Some of the questions I asked this morning

Why do people have to swallow their food?
Why do people cough sometimes?
Why did God make allergies so little boys sneeze around trees?
Why is your hair brown Mommy?
Why doesn't Daddy have fun hair like you Mommy?
Why do you always ask me to eat before school?
Why doesn't Rudy have arms?
Why does Rudy poop in our backyard? Why can't he flush?

This wedding stuff has got me to think.....

about who I will marry one day. First, I told Daddy that I could marry Papa and Noni and he said that I would marry a girl. So, I said I'd just marry Mommy because I already love her. Then, when I told Mommy that, she said it was sweet but I needed someone closer to my own age. Then it happened... I had no idea that marriages were still arranged in this day and age but.... they said I could marry Laney and if she didn't want to marry me that Haven would be just fine. On the way to Wal-Mart I saw a field and said, "Mommy that is where me and Laney will get married one day when we grow up." She said we could find a nice church since it will be prettier than a field. Isn't it wonderful?????? Maybe I should start saving my "dollars" for a ring?

I was one cool dude today...

at Heathe and Julie's wedding. I was excited about carrying the pillow, but it's a good thing that it didn't have the rings on it. Because, I carried it up the aisle like it was a football. It had these neat strings on it just so I could twist and swing it around during the ceremony. All the things you can do with a pillow: Swing it, Step on it, Put it on your head, Twist it around and around, Sit on it..... just in case you ever need to know.

I enjoyed being up front with the big guys. I also enjoyed playing with BepBep and my little cousin Avery since I rarely get to see her. When Mom asked what my favorite thing was I said, "either Heathe's cake that was a real FedEx truck or ringing the bell." I was more excited about getting to eat in a tent than I was being handsome. I got lots of compliments and sweet looks. Everyone was proud of me and I did a good job for having missed my nap. I am tired now so I am going to go to sleep. Sweet dreams.

Daddy and Papa are going on trips...

Papa leaves tomorrow and Daddy leaves Sunday they will be gone a week. I thought about just going along on the trip to Vegas with Daddy since I can fit in his suitcase.

I actually laughed

at preschool drop-off this morning. I know.... it was a big deal. I haven't cried at all this week. I was excited to see Mom though when she picked me up. I couldn't wait to tell her about my day. I will tell anyone that will listen about what I did at school. Today, I reported that 2 people got sent to time out which made me sad. Also, I got to be the lead "pray-er" today. I'm learning lots of church prayers. I was eager to call today "a great day at school". Mommy said, "thank Jesus." It is about time I quit giving her a hard time huh?

Tomorrow is Heathe's wedding and I am acting like I'm excited. Only I know if I'll really walk up that aisle........... tune in for the full report tomorrow nite.

I had to go see Misty today

because my nose is "stuffiny" still. She gave Mommy a prescription for some cough syrup and said I was just fine. I really love Misty and gave away a couple hugs to her and her nurse, Summer. I weighed 30 lbs and was 37 1/4 inches tall. Since January I have grown 1.5 inches and gained 3 lbs. So, for those you that I'm not naming (DADDY) I am growing!!!! I was a good boy so I got a sticker. Then, Mommy took me for an "apple flush" at Sonic.

I took an early nap because we were meeting Noni and Papa at Shorty Small's for dinner. Mommy ordered me my usual- Queso and Chips but I ate everything but that. I ate a bunch of Noni's chicken off of her salad. I also ate Mom's bun from her grilled chicken sandwich and her fries. It was yummy. This was a good day.

Another good day at school

When Mommy dropped me off today I didn't cry. I have done really good all week despite my nose being "stuffiny". I needed my Mommy to rock me last night cause I couldn't breathe. We've been working on our numbers at school and my teacher says that I am doing a really good job. Everyone is so proud of me. I am beginning to ask alot of questions about Papa and Daddy both being gone on trips next week- Mommy may be in for a long week........ she'd better take her vitamins and naps ya know. Bye.

Today was my best day at drop-off

I hugged and kissed Mommy and headed inside with Ms. Christie. I know you are all proud of me and I can't wait to tell you all about it. We got to go outside on the playground too. Mommy was afraid we wouldn't because it was looking like it was going to rain. When Ms. Catherine brought me out to Mommy she told her that I was a wonderful little boy and so mannerly and well behaved. This seemed to surprise Mommy since I am a terror at home but oh well at least I put on a good front in public.

When I woke up this morning I remembered all on my own that it was Mommy's birthday! It made her heart melt when I asked her if she was excited cause I sure am.

Today was really a big day for me.......

woke up early for school this morning. I did good at home and didn't cry while Mommy was getting ready (this was the first time that I didn't). All the way to school I was excited cause Mommy said that Papa was coming with her to pick me up from school and that we were going to have a picnic. I am telling you I was so excited, then it happened....... the teacher opened the truck door and I started crying and kissing Mommy a million times. I was fine though once they got me off of Mom.

Papa was riding with Mommy and they got to see me line up from recess on the playground. It was time to go inside and get out backpacks on. I loved seeing them parked in the pick up line. Then, it was off to the park but there was only one problem. Mommy couldn't find the road to get us there. It was a nice park that we'd never been to. Ms. Diana told Mom about it and it was cool. I had alot of fun there but we couldn't stay that long because I had to poop and you know me I have to do that at my house or Noni and Papa's house. Mommy said we could go back there soon.

We went home and took a nap and when I woke up Mommy said that we were going to the FAIR!!!! I loved it. Daddy rode a few rides with me and Mommy took pictures. I rode a couple things by myself too. I wish we could go there all the time but it only comes once a year. Mommy says that it is worth being ripped off because I had so much fun there. I also loved the animals they were smelly though. I am tired so I'm going to sleep. Later peeps...
