Driving my tractor through the sprinkler

This morning I helped Daddy work out in the yard. He let me ride my tractor while he had the sprinkler going. I decided it would be really fun to drive around it with the water spraying. He yelled for Mommy to bring the camera. After my nap we went to Morrilton to pick up Noni and Papa and head to Aunt Mandy's house. I was so excited cause I knew that we were going to eat Basketti and the Basketti Place aka Catholic Point Picnic. I had so much fun playing games and running around with my cousins. I was starving though so after standing in line for over an hour I ate yummy homeade basketti, bread, and lots of butter. YUMMY! I had it all over my face and shorts. I want to go back there soon.

Me and Mommy took Rudy to the vet today. It wasn't pretty for the most part. Rudy hates going to the doctor. I let it slip and told him on the way there where we were going. Mom had mentioned to me that we didn't need to tell him till we got there because he gets so mad. I thought it wouldn't hurt to warn him. This is what I said: "Rudy, guess where you're going?" To the doctor!!!

Mom: "Luke, I said not to tell".

Rudy: Barking, growling running all over the truck.

But, they gave me an animal coloring book and crayons. Oh, I got puppy stickers too. It wasn't so bad and neither was the bill!

This week is sure going fast

I haven't been up to much this week. I have had a smart mouth a time or two resulting in toys being taken away or even worse a couple times. Mom is tired of me arguing with everything that she says. According to Mom, I have to get the last word in just like my Daddy. Today I was being corrected for not standing still while she put the sunscreen on me and I said, "I don't like sunscreen because it makes me nervous". I used to say that certain things got on my "nerfs" well I've moved on up to nervous now! We've been swimming every day this week if only for a little while. The decision was a painful one but I've decided not to be a FedEx pilot when I grow up, I'm going to build gardens for people during the day and at night I'm gonna be a SuperHero. Tomorrow morning we have to take Rudy to the vet. That is always a fun experience NOT. Mom thinks that he has an eye "confection"aka infection.

I thought I wasn't supposed to go near these things......

Today Mommy and Daddy took me to the zoo. We met some friends there for a fun afternoon. I enjoyed looking at all the animals and playing with my friend Emma. We enjoyed playing chase and feeding the fish. It was sooooo much fun. Let's go back again soon. My favorite animals were the ape, and tigers. I also liked watching the crocs get fed their lunch of white rats!! As you can see in the pictures I wasn't so sure about holding the snake.

When I woke up this morning....

Mommy told me that Noni had called to tell us that Papa had his knife published on the cover of the August issue of Blade Magazine!! Mommy was so excited and I could tell that she wanted me to be excited too but instead I told her I was sad. She asked me why and I said, "Because you never ever put an "expensure" big Buie knife on a cover, tell Noni to get Papa." Mommy laughed but I'm still upset about it.

I heard Mommy telling Daddy about something I said yesterday. When Mommy told me that I needed to go PeePee so we could meet BepBep at a store I did NOT want to go. So Mommy told me that the store we were going to didn't have a bathroom so I must go before we left the house. Well, when we got there I pouted a bit because these kids took over the picnic table that I was looking at and I was not happy. Mommy asked me, "Luke do we need to go to the bathroom and have a talk about how we act in a store"? I said, "No because you already said there is no bathroom in this store."

Gotta go help Mom clean up this nasty house!

Another fun day....

Today Mom surprised me by saying that BepBep wanted us to meet her for lunch and to do some more shopping. What a treat!!!! She didn't get to play very long today though. Once again, I refused to take a nap. But, after supper my neighbor Avery came over to swim with me in my pool. She loved it almost as much as me!! I am ready for Noni and Papa to get back to Arkansas. I've been telling Mom that Papa and I have a big knife to work on when he gets home.

A Fun day with BepBep

BepBep came to my house today and we had some fun shopping. Both BepBep and Mommy were proud of how good I was. We went all over town looking for stuff to put in Mom's room that she just painted. I sure am tired now that all that shopping is done and I missed my nap too. Mom said she still has to clean up and then we can take a bath and go to bed. While we were in Hobby Lobby BepBep picked up these really pretty flowers and I told her that those were way too "expensure"aka expensive! She about laughed herself to death. Mom took me to the bathroom and I decided I had to poop while we were in there. I told Mommy, "Just go on and shop this could be a long poop". It seemed like we were in there 30 minutes but when ya gotta go you gotta go!

Papa and Noni are on their way to Georgia.

They left today for the knife show. I've already been asking Mom when will they be at their house again and how long away is Georgia. Mom said they'll be back on Monday. I sure do miss my Papa when I know he is further away than Morrilton. I remembered them in my prayers last night and asked God to grant them a safe trip- and it wouldn't hurt if Papa sells all of his knives either!!!!!!

Swimming with Papa

Papa and Noni came back to my house today. They took me and Mommy out to lunch but Rudy couldn't go cause he's a dog. Then, Papa took me out in the pool for a swim while Mama and Noni worked on painting the old nursery. While we were at lunch I said something funny. I kept tattling on Papa for every little bitty thing while we ate and Mama finally said, "that's enough tattling". Then Papa said, "Yeah, Luke is a tattle tale." I got mad and said, "Papa, I'm not no cow tail." Noni was just laughing at all of this.

It's official- I do NOT have juvenile diabetes

Mom got a call from the doctor and my blood tests are all back. I am okay. Thank you Jesus! Thank all of you for your prayers and thoughts too. I do have to cut way back on sweets. Mommy was so happy- I don't get what all this means I was just excited about peeing in those cups!! This is good day.

I can sleep in Rudy's bed

I woke up really early this morning. Noni and Papa came to my house so I could show off my new bicycle. Papa and I played golf in the backyard while Mommy and Noni took the Bunny and Bear border down in the guest room(used to be my nursery). Mom is painting it red later this week. I helped pick out the color. They thought I did really good riding my new bicycle. Papa helped me learn to peddle it. I told you I'd be a pro and boy am I ever!!! I'm going all over the house on that thing! But, all this excitment wore me out. Noni and Papa brought me some new movies and when Mom turned the Backyardigans on it was no time and I was asleep. This is how Mom found me.

Wow, a new bicycle

Meme brought me a new bicycle today and I love it. I've been riding it in the house. Daddy even took me to Laurel Park so I could ride it there too. I'm still practicing but check in tomorrow cause I will be a pro by then. Thanks Meme! Hugs and Kisses.

My little smart mouth.....

Well, I got in trouble several times today for smart mouthing Mommy and Daddy. It seems the last few days I've gotten in the habit of holding my hands over my ears anytime I'm in trouble. They've told me to stop doing that. Mom especially hates it when I'm in a store and start talking really loudly and saying, "Mom thats too loud" even when she is whispering. We were going to go to Morrilton to the Sacred Heart Bazaar but it was still raining when it was time for us to leave. Mommy and Daddy said we were going to eat at Smokehouse BBQ and if I was good we would go to PlayWorld. I wasn't good and Mommy and Daddy said it hurt their feelings too but we would not be going to PlayWorld because of my bad choices and behavior. Oh, did I scream and yell and cry. I think Daddy was going to give in for a minute but Mommy said no we've already said we were going home. I was holding out cause I really thought they'd give in but they didn't. So, we ended up going to Home Depot later. On the way home I started in smart mouthing but between you and me I heard them laughing at me a little bit. Here is how the conversation went.

Mommy: "Luke you'd better watch your mouth when answering me, you speak nicely to me"
Luke: "Why"
Mommy: "Because I'm your Mother"
Luke: "Oh Man!!"
Daddy: "Luke, that is enough stop yelling"
Luke: "I knew that was coming"
Mommy and Daddy: " Did he just say, "I knew that was coming?" Snicker Snicker
Luke:"Wait, you are passing Sonic and I need a grape flush".

I got a new mask today and it's a fish

I love it too! I am doing so good with it. Mom just knows my asthma will improve with my breathing machine. She really talked it up today and I was so excited that I got to use it. I've used it twice today. Mom finally got it figured out and she even let me pour my own medicine in and push the power button. Finally, she can stop getting up every 2-4 hours during the night with me!
