My bathtime conversation with Mommy

Tonight while Mommy was giving me a bath I asked her if God made me and she said yes. Then I said, "Well, how does God make us." Mommy says, "He just can he makes everything." Then I said perhaps the funniest thing ever..... "I know how he does it Mommy, with sucker sticks and a coffee pot." Pretty cleaver huh, bettcha didn't know that.

How school is going these days....

today was the 3rd school day in a row that I didn't cry at school. However, it is still turning into quite a scene at home. Mommy has tried everything. But, today she had an opportunity to talk to my teacher who said things are going very well. She mentioned that I always have good days and that I'm very eager to please. Mom felt a little better after that. Maybe things will improve at home as well. Keep your fingers crossed.

What will happen if you eat too many Pepto Kids tablets

your Mommy will have to call the Pepto Phone Line and tell them approximately how many you ate. In my case, there were 10 tablets unaccounted for. I'm swearing I only had 2 though. Mommy got suspicious when I offered her one. She found the bottle opened (so much for Kid Proof bottles) and started counting.

By the way, don't ever do this. It didn't hurt me either.

My first stomach virus....

and it ain't fun. It started yesterday afternoon when I woke up from my nap with a headache. Mommy gave me some medicine and I told her that I wanted to lay back down. That just isn't like me so she new something was up. She also checked and I had fever. I asked to go to bed and you all know that never happens around here. Once I went to sleep Mommy noticed that I was crying and talking. So, she woke me up and I had a good fever. More medicine and I got to sleep with Mommy. Then it happened, I got a tummy ache. But, the good news is that it is now noon and I'm playing like normal. No fever in several hours. Glad it didn't last long.

Preschool Playground

mainly because we got to go on the playground. We all took turns swinging and playing ball. I was excited to see Mommy in the pick-up line though. I was better today than any of the other days. Everyone was so proud of me!

Today was much better at Drop-Off

I woke up and watched TV while Mommy was getting ready. I refused to eat or drink anything- even cookies and milk. So, when Mommy got me dressed and answerd 40 million questions about when she was coming to pick me up and how long it would take we left. Mommy was sooooo excited that I was going to get to play outside and I got excited too on the way there. I started getting a little nervous but made it just fine. When we pulled up to the drop-off I gave Mommy 2 hugs and 2 kisses then said "Bye Bye Mommy I love you please come back for me." Mommy said she'd be back at our usual time. I'll update more later about my playground ok.

This morning at Preschool drop-off

I turned into a psycho little boy. I kicked, yelled to the top of my lungs, slung my arms around, pulled Mommy's hair and probably some other things too. It was just awful. Actually, I started crying yesterday that I didn't want to go- that I wanted to stay at home with Mommy. When I woke up this morning it started and I cried for nearly the whole hour that it took Mommy to get ready. It was hard on her but she didn't cry (well, not in front of me) and consistently told me that I was staying at school, she loved me, and I would have a good time. The teachers were surprised by my behavior and asked Mommy to pull off from the drop zone to make sure that I would be ok. They came out after 5 minutes and said I was just fine. I think I might be in trouble........I know Mommy was embarrassed and I don't feel a bit bad about it!! I just wanted to stay home with her.

It was a great birthday for my Daddy!!!

First thing when I woke up this morning I ran to wake Daddy up by saying, "Happy Birthday". Mommy had suggested that we go to the Alligator Farm in Hot Springs to celebrate but since the weather was bad we ended up going to Chuck-E-Cheese (Mom's favorite place NOT). But, we gave Daddy his cards first and he loved my Spongebob card that I decorated for him. We had a blast playing games and riding things. I can't tell you how happy I was that Mommy wanted to celebrate Daddy's birthday there AND we even got to eat there! What a day.

Daddy if you are reading this I hope you enjoyed your Birthday as much as Mommy and I did. We love you more than all the candy in the world!!!! Happy Birthday!

It was a fun day at Papa's

I was glad when Daddy said that he had to work on Noni's pugger again because that meant we got to play at their house. Mommy said that Rudy and I were testing her nerves so poor Rudy had to stay at home. We rode the Grizzly, roasted marshmallows, raked, worked with tools, played with BepBep and anything else that I wanted to do. It was a great day!! I was so tired that I took a nap there too.

We came home and had a bath then Dylan and Seth came over to play. We had lots of fun playing with all my new tools and saws. I was pooped out when we went to bed. Tomorrow is daddy's birthday so they came over to bring his cards. I got him a Spongebob Squarepants card that Mommy let me pick out all by myself. Mommy told me not to tell him cause it was a secret so I was whispering to daddy and said, "I got you a Spongebob card and it's a secret". Mommy and Daddy cracked up at me. She tried her best to get me to color it today but I told her I couldn't until tomorrow when it is his birthday. I love when other people have a birthday!!!

Mommy took this picture of my sleeping yesterday with the "magic pink covers". She thinks I am so sweet when I'm asleep.

A visit from Papa's Brother

I didn't quite to know what to make of Papa having a brother. I have only seen him twice in my life but his name is Uncle Ron. Noni and Papa brought him to my house. I took up with him right away because, of course, he is Papa's brother. Here is a picture of him but it is kinda blurry.

I attempted to be a Preschool dropout today

but it didn't work. My Mommy was stronger than I. I tried to tell her that I was tired and my throat hurt and I might go next week - but none of it worked. She didn't even feel sorry for me like she used to last year. Boy, what a difference a year makes. She actually got mad at me and told me we were going to have a very serious talk. I am sure this was one of several. But, I went on to school and Mom made me get out at the drive thru. I didn't cry but I had tears in my little eyes. Mommy just drove off.

She came back to get me and I told her that I didn't cry when she drove off. I am sticking to my story that I went into my classroom and sat down at my table for a minute, then I played at the work bench. I will not lie I was sad but I didn't cry. I did ask my teacher one time when my Mommy would be back for me. I was so happy to see Mommy in the drive thru line!!

Yep, I'm Catholic

Mommy forgot to tell you all that today when she and I were eating lunch at Chick-Fil-A I made the sign of the cross all on my own. Mommy and Daddy have been trying to teach me this for awhile and I usually mess up but I paid attention when my teachers taught me today!! Mommy was so proud and I know Daddy, Noni, and BepBep will be too. Here is what I did.

Mommy opening up our food
Me: Mommy let's pray because we are about to eat food.
Mommy: Ok, can you pray Luke?
Me: Sure, dipping my fingers into my Coke as if it is Holy Water.
Mommy: Watching in amazement
Me: Correctly placing fingers on forehead, "Name of the Father, Son, and Spearlee Holy, Amen
Spearlee Holy aka Holy Spirit.

Mommy: Luke, I am so proud of you why won't you do that for me and Daddy
Me: Cause I'm a big kid at school, when our teachers started the prayer before our snack I told them that this was the stuff we say at our house before we eat.
Mommy: Well good at least they know we say "stuff" before we eat at our house.

My first day as a St. Joe Bulldog

Wow, I had to wake up really early today. Daddy went to work a little late this morning so that he could go with Mom to drop me off at school. I was really happy about this. I seemed so excited that Mom didn't think I'd even cry. However, this is one time that Daddy was right. I did cry when we got there. But, my teacher told Mommy that I was fine after 5 minutes and had a great first day. It was pouring down this morning so I didn't get to play on my new playground but maybe Friday I can. I've had a little bit of a smart mouth today (thank goodness not at school).

On the way to school Daddy was saying that I had a smart mouth like Mommy does and that I'm high maintenance just like her too. Well, Mommy told him that I was just like him NOT her. My Mommy is sweet.... So I said to Daddy, "I'm happy that you are going to work". Mommy and Daddy both thought that this was funny.

Then, when Mommy picked me up from school we went to eat lunch at Chick-Fil-A and started grinning really big and Mommy knew what I was about to say and tried to stop me but I went ahead and said it loudly, "I pooted Mom."

On the way home I asked Mommy where we were going and she said, "home so you can take a nap." I said, "No Deal Mom and that doesn't even make sense." My smart little mouth gets me in trouble sometimes ya know. Whew, I'm tired so I am going to take a nap. Catch ya later. Oh, Mommy took some pictures of course and the first one was through the truck window during the rain, but it is of me and my new class waiting at the drop off point to be picked up.

I met an "older woman"

and her name is Jillian aka Jilli. She is a mini version of her mom, Julie. I enjoyed hanging out with them. I love Uncle Heaffer and I am glad that he brought them over. We had fun running around outside while Mommy and Julie cooked dinner. We had Cavatini, bread, and salad. I wanted my plate to look exactly like Jilli's so Julie fixed it that way. I gave away lots of hugs tonight to Uncle Heaffer and Julie and even Jilli! She brought Barnyard and we watched it together and colored too. It was a really cool evening and I didn't want my new friend to leave but she actually goes to bed at night and sleeps-unlike myself!
