Dylan's Ballgame

Today when I woke up from my nap Mommy surprised me and said that we were going to Greenbrier to watch Dylan's ballgame. She even told me that Seth would be there too. I love playing with my cousins at the ballfield. I was so excited and minded Mom really good so that we could go. Mom drove and when we got there she was a little stressed out because we were 10 minutes late and you know how she gets. Well, she was driving too fast down the road and Daddy said something about her not paying the little man that was waving us down. Mommy didn't even see a little man collecting money- she wanted to get to the game!!! That was so funny and everyone gave her a hard time about it especially Aunt Mandy (but she knows how Mom drives). Dylan won his first game but not the second. He is my baseball idol and one day I hope to hit the ball as hard as he does. I had such a good time that I didn't want to leave. But, Mom and Aunt Mandy said we were all going to eat. Dylan, Seth, and I began to wonder if there was any decent restaurant open in Conway after 9 PM what is this town coming to??? Finally, we got to eat. When I got home I had Mom put my breathing mask on me after my bath and to sleep I went in my firetruck. Boy I sure was tired. This was a great day.

My conversation with PawPaw

Today PawPaw came to our house to work on tile in the bathroom. Of course, he had to come when I was available to work with him. And, let me tell you, he couldn't have completed the job without me! He was working and I was talking - here's how the conversation went.

Me: PawPaw do you know everything?
PawPaw: No- I sure don't know everything.
Me: Well, why not not?
PawPaw": I just don't even though I've been around awhile.
Me: That's ok PawPaw don't worry about it Mommy doesn't know everything either, but I do!

Brandon's B-day Party

Today Daddy and I went to Benton for Brandon's 5th birthday party. I had a blast. I played with some nice kids on a slip n slide and ran around their backyard. I even got a goody bag filled with candy. Today was a fun day!

Sleeping in my own bed

I know you have all been wanting an update so here goes. Daddy came up with a plan to get me to stay in my own room by myself while falling asleep. Turn my TV on!! It has worked for the last 2 nights. I can watch TV for a little while but I have to stay in my bed while doing so. This seems to make me forget about being all alone in my room. Mommy comes in and turns it down really really low and says "Nite Nite go to sleep" and I do!!! I have wondered in their bed around 4:00 AM but hey this is a start. Pssstt- I think I heard them say they miss me in their bed..... I don't know why cause I'm hard to sleep with.

Today Papa came by to play and we met Noni for lunch at Chili's. I got tired of waiting on our food that was taking forever so I entertained everyone around us.

Fun with my cousins

This morning Dylan and Seth came to my house for swimming and shopping. We had a good time at Burger King playing and more fun swimming. Mom and Aunt Mandy said that we were not that good today. I think they got tired of us on one or more occassions. Good Luck with your ballgame tonight Dylan! Thanks for coming over.

Chick Fil A= Fun

Today Mommy and I met Mrs. Diana, Laney, & Haven for some shopping at Target and lunch. I had fun watching baby Haven and was so excited when I actually noticed that she was in the buggy too. I kept asking if I could "pet"her. I just think that she is the neatest thing. Laney and I had a good time running around playing at Chick Fil A. It is so much more fun than when it's just me and Mom. I want to go back soon. I've asked Mommy today how God got Haven out of Diana's tummy???????? She said we'd talk about that later that God could do anything. I told Mom that God lives in my tummy!

All the reasons why I shouldn't sleep in my bed.....

* There are owls outside my window that talk bad
* Jesus doesn't like it when little boys sleep in their firetruck beds alone
* Your baby boy wants to be with you Mommy
* There was a bad car that drove by firetruck and pushed me off of the road
* I really, really need to sleep with you in the chair all night

Sending me back to my own bed hasn't worked too good over the last two nights as you can tell but I managed to sleep in my firetruck for 2 hours once...... Stay tuned for more updates.

Happy Father's Day

When we woke up this morning I was really excited because it was Father's Day! I'd already told my Daddy about his cards and gift on Friday though. You see, I can't keep a secret very well. Anyway, we headed to Papa's for some fun. Both Daddy and Papa took me riding on the grizzly and the John Deere. Daddy took me in the woods to see the horses. I love doing that. Then me and Papa grilled hamburgers and hotdogs. Mom, Daddy, Papa, and I rode down to the pond cause Mom wanted to take some pictures. Then it was time for my nap and off to Meme and PawPaw's house. I played outside with my cousins riding the gocart and then Aunt Mandy said we could blow up the water slide. I loved loved loved it! Then the guys jumped in the pool while the girls cooked us some yummy pork chops and hotdogs. It was a very fun day.

Driving my tractor through the sprinkler

This morning I helped Daddy work out in the yard. He let me ride my tractor while he had the sprinkler going. I decided it would be really fun to drive around it with the water spraying. He yelled for Mommy to bring the camera. After my nap we went to Morrilton to pick up Noni and Papa and head to Aunt Mandy's house. I was so excited cause I knew that we were going to eat Basketti and the Basketti Place aka Catholic Point Picnic. I had so much fun playing games and running around with my cousins. I was starving though so after standing in line for over an hour I ate yummy homeade basketti, bread, and lots of butter. YUMMY! I had it all over my face and shorts. I want to go back there soon.

Me and Mommy took Rudy to the vet today. It wasn't pretty for the most part. Rudy hates going to the doctor. I let it slip and told him on the way there where we were going. Mom had mentioned to me that we didn't need to tell him till we got there because he gets so mad. I thought it wouldn't hurt to warn him. This is what I said: "Rudy, guess where you're going?" To the doctor!!!

Mom: "Luke, I said not to tell".

Rudy: Barking, growling running all over the truck.

But, they gave me an animal coloring book and crayons. Oh, I got puppy stickers too. It wasn't so bad and neither was the bill!

This week is sure going fast

I haven't been up to much this week. I have had a smart mouth a time or two resulting in toys being taken away or even worse a couple times. Mom is tired of me arguing with everything that she says. According to Mom, I have to get the last word in just like my Daddy. Today I was being corrected for not standing still while she put the sunscreen on me and I said, "I don't like sunscreen because it makes me nervous". I used to say that certain things got on my "nerfs" well I've moved on up to nervous now! We've been swimming every day this week if only for a little while. The decision was a painful one but I've decided not to be a FedEx pilot when I grow up, I'm going to build gardens for people during the day and at night I'm gonna be a SuperHero. Tomorrow morning we have to take Rudy to the vet. That is always a fun experience NOT. Mom thinks that he has an eye "confection"aka infection.

Today Mommy and Daddy took me to the zoo. We met some friends there for a fun afternoon. I enjoyed looking at all the animals and playing with my friend Emma. We enjoyed playing chase and feeding the fish. It was sooooo much fun. Let's go back again soon. My favorite animals were the ape, and tigers. I also liked watching the crocs get fed their lunch of white rats!! As you can see in the pictures I wasn't so sure about holding the snake.
