A trip to PlayWorld!

This morning my Mom had to take Annie Poo to the doctor so Papa called to see if she needed help. Of course, Mom said no that she could manage. Being my nosey self, I heard her on the phone and started yelling out that I wanted Papa to stay with me. When he got to our house he asked what I wanted to do and I told him that the Stobaugh Family had sent me a pass to PlayWorld. I immediately yelled really loud, "wasn't that nice of them Papa?" Papa and Mommy cracked up at me. So, off to PlayWorld it was and I had a blast. We also went to McDonalds for lunch and we both got chocolate ice cream cones and they were yummy. I sure do love it when my Papa takes care of me- much better than going to the doctor!

Orientation at my school

was tonight and I was actually excited about it. I had three friends from last year-
Adi, Caden, and Kristen. I had a great time playing at the work center with Caden while all the adults had their meeting. I got to meet my teacher, Mrs. Lisa- well I actually already knew her. I also have Mrs. Kathy in my room and she is a super sweet grandmotherly type woman. She'll take good care of me along with Mrs. Lisa. I'm looking forward to my new school year and learning new things. I don't have a photo on here but I will after my first day of school on Tuesday. My Mom was bad and didn't get one because she was too busy messing with my little sister.

A recap of my week!

My little sister caused all sorts of chaos in this house. On Thursday, Papa came to play and take me to Jump Zone for a little break. It sure was nice to get out of the house for a little bit.

Mom and I have been talking about school starting back up soon and I've promised her that I will not cry this year on the first day. I think she doubts that will hold true. She's been telling me that I will get to go on the playground each and every day! That sounded great until I realized that I won't get to sleep late and I won't be at my house with my toys nearly as much as right now. Everyone says that I will love it and ya know- I do love being a St. Joe Bulldog!

On Friday, BepBep came for the whole entire day! I helped her clean this house really good. She ordered us pizza and played with me. Mom got to take a super long shower and that was the one day Aniston was good. I didn't want BepBep to leave and even thought about tying her up real good so she'd spend the night. I invited her to come back and do just that. Everyone needs a BepBep.

Saturday was a very special day because it was baby A's baptism! We got to go to Fr. Charlie's church and see everyone! Aniston was beautiful and I told her, "I'll never get tired of seeing you dressed like this." I didn't mind all the attention being on my sister one bit. You know, I couldn't wait to help Mom get her dressed. I am going to make someone (hopefully Laney) a great husband one day. I am really the best big brother in the world. Someone asked me if I remembered my Baptism and I replied, "heck yeah"! Of course I do- I was six weeks old. The best part of it all was the party that Noni and Papa had for Aniston at their house. They had one for me too when I got Baptised. I got to visit with everyone and it was just great. One of my favorite things was getting to see Fr. Charlie's new car and it has a secret weapon on it that is a special horn that I got to blow. When we were getting buckled in I asked Mom if we could go back and do it again when we "waked" up. She thought that was pretty funny until I said, "well not go back to church again just Noni's- but we'll dress Aniston up again too if you'd like." Mom laughed really hard and I asked her if she was making fun of me or laughing because she thinks I'm cute????

I've said some pretty funny things this past week:

Thursday night Mom was crying and I asked why she was so upset. She said it was because she was afraid she was losing her milk for Aniston. I said, "oh no now we'll have to give her tea to drink." Then, a little while later I had a great idea and told Mom and Dad about it. "We could make posters and put them on the ends of streets and all these people can help look for it." Mom told me she could no longer be sad because I was so precious and always said just the right thing to make her feel better.

A fun weekend*****

Friday nite I went to spend the night with Noni and Papa. Papa and I buried secret treasures, worked in his shop, and ate yummy food. I also got to enjoy all the goodies that Noni had bought me to eat, drink, and take home. It is always fun when I go to BepBep's house and I got to go there too! She gave me goodies and stuff too!!! When it was time for me to come home yesterday Papa and I met Daddy at "our meeting place" in Menifee. All the way home I told Daddy about my adventures. I also told him that I missed him and Mom and my little sister. When we got home I loved on Mom and Aniston then it was time for a nap. I love my family.

Today, Papa and Noni came to bring us food for the week. We'll all be sad when that ends but Mom will espcially be upset because she'll have to figure out cooking with two rowdy kids! Before they got here Mom and Dad told me to go get my clothes on and this is how I dressed myself.

An unplanned visit from Papa

This morning Mommy told me that my baby sister was going to have to see the doctor. I immediately jumped up and said "Poppi is coming, Poppi is coming." For some reason, I just knew that Mom would need him to watch me while she took Aniston to the doctor. I have never been more excited to see Papa- I even went out the door in my underwear to greet him. When Mom got back Papa said he needed to go but I decided to spend the night with him. So, Mom and I packed my suitcase and I'm off having fun with Papa and Noni. Hopefully, Mom is able to get a nap! Say a prayer for Aniston that she gets well soon.

Time with Papa

When I woke up this more I remembered right away that Papa was coming to take me to Jump Zone. I finally got dressed after being distracted by the TV. About the time that I finished getting dressed Papa showed up. We had a good time at Jump Zone and as usual I can't wait to go back again. My Mom heated us up a nice lunch and we got to play in my room before it was time for Papa to go. This afternoon my sister was pretty fussy and I got upset because I needed a good nap. Mom finally got her quiet enough that I could sleep but it didn't last long. Whew, sometimes being an older brother isn't easy!

Playing with Laney and Haven

is always a fun treat. It is especially fun though since Mom is spending so much time with my baby sister. Mom doesn't have nearly the time for me that she used to. So, the girls from the Sellers family came over to swim and play with me. We had a great time and I enjoyed having company my own age. When Mom asked what my favorite part of the day was I said, "the chips".

A trip to the Hunting Club

Daddy, Papa and I had a boys day out while Noni stayed with the girls. I had fun all day but the best part was when I went for a swim in the Little Red River with Daddy. The water was a great temperature and I liked everything about swimming in a river except the minnows. We had a picnic in Papa's truck but I also got a Happy Meal. Oh, I got to jump around on a bunk bed too. I took a nap on the way home. Mom and I left Aniston with Daddy while we went to the Post Office and Wal Mart this afternoon- it was fun having her all to myself again! But, as soon as we got home I ran to kiss my baby sister. Right before bed tonight I said, "Mom can we keep her at our house forever." Mom said we could because we are her family and we have to take care of her.

I'm going to make a phone call

to Bep Bep because you two are laughing at me. Then, you'll both gets spankings and have very red butts. This is what I say to Mom and Dad when they laugh at me- even if they are just laughing because they think that I'm funny.

Another trip to see Dr. H

Noni took Mommy, Aniston and I to see Dr. H today. I got all sorts of "big brother" attention while we were there. Everyone asked me about being a big brother and lots of people looked at my baby sister. I got to shake hands with Dr. H and his nurse Lisa. I feel very important being a big brother- thanks to all of you that make me feel that way. Because we've been to see Dr. H so much I associate Little Rock with him and he thought this was really funny. Once he stopped laughing he told me how much he would miss me and especially my Mommy. He also said we could stop by his office anytime we wanted for a peek out his high window, a hand shake or advice.

When we got home Mommy and Aniston took a nap while I watched TV and you know what- I didn't set the house on fire or make a mess. Well, I made a small mess with the hidden Hershey Kisses that I found but I cleaned it up when Mom told me to.

When Daddy heated up our dinner tonight I didn't eat well so he told me I had to go to bed hungry. He ended up giving me a piece of butter bread but not a single bite of that yummy chocolate chip cake that he bought at Kroger. It was a sad nite for me at the Potts house!

A play date with Laney

and it was so much fun. We played dress up again and danced for our Mom's. I still enjoy playing with Haven especially since she can do more now. I told Mom that I can't wait till Annie Poo is bigger so we can play together. Sometimes I just want to do more than hold her. I am still a big help to Mom though. Thanks for having us over for Pizza and Play today!

My weekend

was more fun with Mommy and Daddy. We got to eat out several times and since Mommy was ready to be out and about we ran several errands. Aniston went with us to church for the first time. We saw my old teacher Ms. Christy and I got to tell her all about being a big brother. I told Daddy tonight that I was sad he was going back to work. I also told Mommy this. Of course, I was so precious that I made Mom cry. However, when they both told me how much Mom would need my help taking care of my little sister I told them "I'm up for the challenge". I say over and over how much I love my family. Noni and Papa came today and brought us enough food to get through the middle of the week. I enjoyed playing in my room with Papa and Daddy. Noni helped Mom some around the house while she was here. I'll miss you being home with us Daddy:(
