"Darnick"

In case you don't know this means that you are mad. We got Mommy out of the house today and on our way back home this is what what I said when something upset me. Of course it really upset me that Mom and Daddy laughed at me. But, they apparently couldn't help themselves darnick!

Adjusting to being a big brother

Overall, being a big brother is awesome. I am constantly telling Mom how much I love Aniston and I am always offering to help. There have only being one or two times that I was resentful of her and mainly that is because Mommy can't leave her to go outside with me. But, I love and kiss her all the time. Daddy has been home with us this week and today he had errands to run so Noni came to stay with us. Mommy hadn't told me that she was coming and when I looked out the window and saw her car I said, "It's Noni, it's really Noni she came back." Much to Mom's surprise I didn't get upset when she left this time. Daddy is doing a great job of taking care of us though. I am helping Mom with baths though. I am loving life these days!

A sad day

that's because Noni had to leave and go home to Papa today. I cried, Mommy cried, and Noni cried. I didn't realize just how much I'd miss her taking care of us. Mommy told me that it would be ok because Daddy was staying home to care for us next week- but that just won't be the same. Mommy also told me that it had been a very special week of camp outs in the den and lots of fun memories with my baby sister. Thank you Noni for all the care you gave us especially this past week- I'll always remember our camp outs!

Holding Aniston

I've asked to hold Aniston for 20 seconds about 20 times a day since we've been home. I love my baby sister so much. It has been an adjustment but Noni is staying with us this week to take care of me, Aniston and Mommy. So, I really haven't had to do without what I want for very long. We'll see if it continues to go this well in a few weeks. Tune in for updates.

Taking my baby sister home

I have been excited all day about going to pick up Mom and baby Aniston at the hosptial. Daddy told me this morning that we'd go to Little Rock to pick them up and bring them home. I am thrilled to share our home with Aniston. When we got to the hospital Mom had Aniston all dressed up in her going home outfit. It was a beautiful pink gown and I immediately asked to hold her. Thank you God for all of our blessings.

Happy Birthday Aniston

On the way to the hospital I looked over at Mom and said, "Is Aniston really coming out today"? We were all excited and Mommy took some pictures of us when we first got to the hospital. I already love my baby sister soooo much. Mommy didn't get to see my expression when I saw her for the first time but Daddy caught it on film. Noni and Papa walked with me to the nursery window and I could see little Aniston. Mommy got a video of me holding her for the first time too. I'll update more later because I'm exhausted, it's been one busy day. I am staying with Noni and Papa for the weekend so Daddy can be with Mom at the hospital. There will be more from me and my lil sis later!

The last day of just Luke and Mommy

was very busy. We went to the store and to Subway for lunch. It was late when we took a nap and Mommy was tearful. I asked her what was wrong and she said that this would be the last day just me and her would snuggle for a nap before my baby sister. I told her it would be okay if Aniston took a nap with us! Mommy told me how much she loved me and we talked once again about what would happen at the hospital tomorrow. We both enjoyed our busy day together. As you all know tomorrow is going to be quite the day for the Potts family- so be patient with me cause it may be a week before I can manage to update this blog. The Laney and Luke Show

It's been a great morning.

When I woke up it was time to get dressed and meet my girls at Jump Zone. Laney and I were so excited to go down all the slides. Laney's Mom even went down some of the slides with Haven. Speaking of Haven, she can get around alot better now that she can walk on her own. We got to play for a long time then we picked up lunch and headed for Laney's house. We played alot today and even put on a show for our Moms. It was great, and our Moms really enjoyed it. Mrs. Diana will post it on here later. I'm heading off to my room for a nap. Aniston is just about here and Mom wanted this week to be tons of fun for me and so far it has!

I got to swim in the pool

while it was raining. Jilli came over today with her Mom to swim. We were in the pool when it started raining real hard, but our Moms let us stay in. There was no thunder or lightening. That was the coolest thing that happened all day! Tonight, after dinner, Mrs. Diana, Laney, and Haven stopped by for a game of hide n seek. I sure was glad to see them. When Laney came in I gave her a hug and when she left she gave me a hug. We'll see each other tomorrow for some fun at Jump Zone. I can't wait.

Jump Zone is Open

Saturday Daddy bought me a pass so I could work off some energy. Today, while Noni took Mom to the Dr. , Papa and I went for some jumping. It was lots of fun - even more fun than PlayWorld. I need a break because I've been helping Mom get everything ready for Aniston's arrival. We sure have had fun playing "I spy with my little eye" in her room. I'm getting ready for a nap and so is Mom. I'll write more later.

Happy 4th of July

Well, my baby sister didn't show up today. I'd been telling people she would and I think everyone halfway expected it- but it didn't happen. Mom told me this morning that she was glad to keep her in her tummy for a few more days because if she'd come out today we'd miss fireworks! So, now I'm not sad anymore that I'm not getting to meet her today. Daddy got to stay home today so we went swimming and played outside before it was time to go to Papa's. Oh, one other thing, I didn't wake up till 10:15 this morning. Can you believe that? Mom said I'm going to have to start going to bed earlier. That ain't no fun. Bep Bep came over, we had a fish fry, rode my tractor, rode the grizzly and got a bunch of fireworks. I sure do like this 4th of July stuff!

Even more fun with Papa

Once again, Noni took Mom to the doctor and Papa got to be my babysitter. Today was extra fun because we went to PlayWorld. It wasn't as crowded today so I got to run around more and play more games than usual. I am always a good boy for Papa and he loves to be my babysitter. Tomorrow is firecracker day! I can't wait.

Another fun time with Papa

we sure have been hanging out alot lately. Noni had to take Mom back to the hospital but this time we knew she'd be coming right back home after she got a shot in her butt and Dr. H checked in on Aniston. Papa feeds me, plays with me, and lets me mess up my room. Sure is fun when we hang out together. I asked how much longer till my baby sister comes out and Mom said it won't be long at all now. She asked me if I'd rather see my sister or firecrackers and I said, "firecrackers"! Afterall, I am a little boy and fireworks only come once a year.
