Yep, I'm Catholic

Mommy forgot to tell you all that today when she and I were eating lunch at Chick-Fil-A I made the sign of the cross all on my own. Mommy and Daddy have been trying to teach me this for awhile and I usually mess up but I paid attention when my teachers taught me today!! Mommy was so proud and I know Daddy, Noni, and BepBep will be too. Here is what I did.

Mommy opening up our food
Me: Mommy let's pray because we are about to eat food.
Mommy: Ok, can you pray Luke?
Me: Sure, dipping my fingers into my Coke as if it is Holy Water.
Mommy: Watching in amazement
Me: Correctly placing fingers on forehead, "Name of the Father, Son, and Spearlee Holy, Amen
Spearlee Holy aka Holy Spirit.

Mommy: Luke, I am so proud of you why won't you do that for me and Daddy
Me: Cause I'm a big kid at school, when our teachers started the prayer before our snack I told them that this was the stuff we say at our house before we eat.
Mommy: Well good at least they know we say "stuff" before we eat at our house.

My first day as a St. Joe Bulldog

Wow, I had to wake up really early today. Daddy went to work a little late this morning so that he could go with Mom to drop me off at school. I was really happy about this. I seemed so excited that Mom didn't think I'd even cry. However, this is one time that Daddy was right. I did cry when we got there. But, my teacher told Mommy that I was fine after 5 minutes and had a great first day. It was pouring down this morning so I didn't get to play on my new playground but maybe Friday I can. I've had a little bit of a smart mouth today (thank goodness not at school).

On the way to school Daddy was saying that I had a smart mouth like Mommy does and that I'm high maintenance just like her too. Well, Mommy told him that I was just like him NOT her. My Mommy is sweet.... So I said to Daddy, "I'm happy that you are going to work". Mommy and Daddy both thought that this was funny.

Then, when Mommy picked me up from school we went to eat lunch at Chick-Fil-A and started grinning really big and Mommy knew what I was about to say and tried to stop me but I went ahead and said it loudly, "I pooted Mom."

On the way home I asked Mommy where we were going and she said, "home so you can take a nap." I said, "No Deal Mom and that doesn't even make sense." My smart little mouth gets me in trouble sometimes ya know. Whew, I'm tired so I am going to take a nap. Catch ya later. Oh, Mommy took some pictures of course and the first one was through the truck window during the rain, but it is of me and my new class waiting at the drop off point to be picked up.

I met an "older woman"

and her name is Jillian aka Jilli. She is a mini version of her mom, Julie. I enjoyed hanging out with them. I love Uncle Heaffer and I am glad that he brought them over. We had fun running around outside while Mommy and Julie cooked dinner. We had Cavatini, bread, and salad. I wanted my plate to look exactly like Jilli's so Julie fixed it that way. I gave away lots of hugs tonight to Uncle Heaffer and Julie and even Jilli! She brought Barnyard and we watched it together and colored too. It was a really cool evening and I didn't want my new friend to leave but she actually goes to bed at night and sleeps-unlike myself!

It was orientation at my church school.....

I really think I'm gonna like it there too! I got to meet all my teachers and play in my classroom. School doesn't start until next Wed. but I'm all ready to go and carry my new backpack. There will be 16 kids in my room- that's a lot but there will also be 3 teachers in there the whole time. Mom can drop me off between 7:45 and 8:20- which means we will have to get up much earlier!!! The playground is really cool, wanna come see it????

Papa came to play "build fire" at my house today

and he even ran errands with us. It was a really good time. He and I worked hard in my room so he had to go home to take a nap.

Rudy wasn't feeling good at all today. He had to go to the vet yesterday for his shots so that was exciting. I really like going there because they give me coloring books, crayons, and stickers to take home with me. We are having to give Rudy lots of TLC cause he is were sore and tired.

I have a new fish....

and I'm calling him Pumpkin. He is a blue/red mix and has a really long tail. Mommy says that he is a "Beta Fish". I love showing him off to everyone that comes over. He likes his new house.

Today is a sad day:(

Mommy discovered that Elephant has passed away. I am now saying that he is in heaven and we will see him again one day when it is our turn to go there. We are going to get a new fish a little later today.

My first fishing Derby!!!

We were off early this morning to Fish Lake to meet Aunt Mandy, Uncle Trav, MeMe and the boys for their annual 4-H fishing derby. I had a ton of fun playing in the worms with a little girl named Cecilia that Mommy said was my cousin. I had a lot of fun running wild with the boys too. Dylan won the award for "smallest catch". One lady nearby us caught a huge snake!!!! That was sure exciting. I had a really good time out there fishing and playing. My PawPaw got out of the hospital this morning so we went by his house to check on him. He even took me outside to see his boat and it was neat. Dylan had some Sour Patch Kids candy and he shared them with all of us. On the way back to my house I said something funny. "Daddy PawPaw has a boat and he got it at a yard sale". Mommy and Daddy cracked up laughing. I don't why it was funny. We all took a nap once back at my house..

Laney wears me out and here's the proof.....

Tonight Mommy, Daddy, and I went over the Sellers brand new house for a cookout. I actually ate good sitting at their bar. Laney and I had chicken nuggets and they were delicious. I love her new house and her back yard. We chased Daddy around out there and played chase with each other too. I still love her kitchen in her room and of course the vacuum is still the bestest toy she has. The grown ups had some game that they were playing but me and Laney did our own thing. I got to play a little with Baby Haven too. She is so sweet and guess what... my Daddy loves her now too!! Whew playing with those girls is hard work. Nite Nite.

Well, I had lunch with Heathe's little girlfriend today

and she is "awesome" that's what I told Daddy about her. I also said she was pretty. It doesn't hurt that she has a really cool car either. Her name is Julie just like my Mommy's name. We went to Chili's and I ate mac n cheese and a big ole corn on the cob. It was a fun lunch even there were no kids to play with. I will get to meet her little girl soon though. Her name is "Jilly Willy". I like going to Heathe's house because his water in his fridge is better than the water in my fridge...... Mommy says it is the exact same brand. Know what? His cokes are better than mine too- go figure.

Well Mommy smashed my big toe

going into Dollar Tree. Well, she didn't actually do it I ran my foot under the door while she had it open. My big toe just had blood all over the place. Mommy said she felt bad because it must have really hurt but she was embarrassed that I was saying, "you are always hurting me Mommy"!!! Well I got two toys and felt better when we got home.

A visit to Dr. Austin

This morning Papa came to watch me while Mommy got a haircut. It was fun playing with my new tool set with Papa. Then Papa went back to his house in Morrilton and Mommy and I picked him up there for a ride to Russellville with us. We then met Noni for lunch at Brangus and I really liked that place!!

Mommy and Papa went with me to see Dr. Austin. He said my tonsils needed to come out and Mommy nearly fainted. He said he should've gotten them along with adenoids in April when they put tubes in my ears. But at that time they were ok. We are hoping it is just allergies swelling those silly things. My ears looked good and he hopes the tubes will stay in through the winter. Guess what? I had to get pink earplugs cause they were out of blue ones.

It's Luke -Vader

I had a great day today...

First Papa brought MeeMaw to our house for a visit. Then Mommy told me that Mrs. Diana was bringing Laney over to play with me so her Mommy and Daddy could get ready to move into their new house tomorrow. I was way excited to see her. I didn't get to hold baby Haven this time because she left with her Mommy. Laney and I played guns and had a really good time eating Popsicles. She'd never had the cotton candy ones before so I insisted that she eat two. Maybe her Mommy will buy her some??? Papa and Meemaw laughed a whole lot at us running around pretending to surf and hunt the bad men. I was sad to see that Laney had to go home when Mrs. Diana came to pick her. We will play again soon though.

Next, Aunt Mandy and the boys came to take us to Burger King. We had fun there as usual. I knew we wouldn't be able to make it through the day without our Moms going shopping somewhere. However, this time we went all the way to Maumelle to look for bargains!! They are nuts sometimes. Harvest Foods was closing so they had lots of things marked down. Mommy bought us enough cheese to last a few months and lunch meat too!!!

More about our trip to Wal-Mart today

I was tired and ready to go home but we kept running into these old people that were slow. We were on our way to check out when Mommy realized that she'd forgotten my French Toast Sticks. So when we turned down the frozen isle there they were again .... some "old old pooers"! I said, "Oh, No they are so slow, they need to hurry up." Mommy told me to hush but I think the old man already heard me. He wandered over to where I was and was talking to me when out of the blue I said, "Smell my breath" to him. Mommy was embarrassed but I don't see what the big deal is do you??
