Mommy got locked out while I was on the potty...

She was hauling in all the groceries and I went to poop. In a few seconds I heard her yelling for me to help her- she was in the garage and it was hot. The door had locked behind her and she could not get in. I just kept yelling for her to use her key that I was pooping. She yelled really loud that she didn't have her key and she needed me to unlock the door. Well, eventually I got through pooping and she was super glad to see me. Daddy laughed really hard when I told him this story. He said for me to put it on my blog- how could I have forgotten to add that to my blog????

More things that I have been saying....

Mommy and I were going into Wal-Mart and she was carrying me because you know- I hurt my elbow and it is somehow connected to the kness. All of a sudden I touched her face and said, "Mommy I love your face today it looks so pretty". She was wearing make-up and doesn't do that a lot in the summer time you know.

I told Mommy that I wanted to change elephant's name back to "pumpkin" and then turn Rudy's name into "Elephant". She thought that was way too funny.

While waiting on Daddy to get home from work I said it sure was taking along time, we must have had a lot of bills to pay!! Mommy and Daddy had me saying "Go work pay bills" when I was 1.5 years old when it was time for Daddy to go to work. Apparently, I reasoned that it was taking awhile for him to get home because he was working lots because of all the bills.

When talking with Mommy in the pool about going to my big boy church school in a few weeks I asked her if there would be another Laney at my school. Mommy said no there is only one special little Laney but I could make new friends and there would be other little girls there and even some mean ole boys for me to play with. I said, "well I really just want Laney". Mommy will miss seeing Laney when she drops me off to school too. But she is going to be living real close and we will still see her.

Mom and I went to the bank and the teller did NOT give me a sucker this time. Mommy and Daddy have warned me about how you don't always get a sucker at the bank. I wonder why it is that every time Rudy is with us he gets a treat at the bank??? They never rip him off. Well when the drawer went back in and no sucker I yelled, "That's it we are definitely getting a new bank- this is two times that I haven't gotten a sucker". I was so loud that Mommy said we probably will have to get a new bank because she's sure they heard me!!!

I'm back into wanting everyone to see what I have left in the potty. And now I'm calling them
"Big ole rip turtles".

How sweet.

This was me finally sleeping after a long battle tonight. I insisted on having all my friends in my firetruck bed with me AND getting to sleep with the "pink covers". I like the pink covers not because they are pink but because I always ask Mommy to tell me the story of how BepBep made her the pink covers when she was a little girl and they are magic- so you get to sleep really good and have sweet dreams with the "pink covers"!!! Nite Nite

I had a blast spending the night with Dylan and Seth

we swam, ate at the Fish House, played with Duke, played with neat-o toys in the playroom, and took a shower. Mom missed me but I didn't even have time to think about missing her and Daddy- I was having way too much fun. It was so hot outside that we had to stay in alot but that is ok because I love their playroom. I am still talking about all we did. Next time I want Dylan and Seth to spend the night at my house!! I was a little grumpy just because I was so tired when I got home. However, I should get a pass for that because I have to work twice as hard to do whatever those big boys are doing, even though I think I'm just as big as they are.

I'm spending the night with my cousins....

they just came to pick me up. I think Mommy is going to miss me a bunch too! I will miss Mommy, Daddy, and Rudy but really I won't think about them too much because I'll be busy playing. I love having the boys to play with. I promised Mom that I would be on my best behavior. I will write back tomorrow with all our adventures.

I went to Pizza Parade tonight

with MeMe, PawPaw, Daddy and Mommy. My favorite part was the arcade room as usual. I didn't eat much pizza but that's ok too. We got to play tons and tons of games and then some more games. Daddy stopped downtown so we could look at the "Boose" on the train. I also like the water fountain there. MeMe and PawPaw came back to my house and put my new firetruck puzzle together with me. I love my new puzzle and love for anybody new to help me put it together. I also love to tear it apart. Thanks for a great time tonight MeMe and PawPaw!!!

Tonight MeMe and PawPaw came to my house

and brought me some Chicken. Oh, they also brought rolls and they were so yummy especially with honey. They brought a bunch of other stuff the the big people thought was yummy too. I was loving my chicken and rolls though. Mommy loved it because she didn't have to cook!! That Mommy-she needs a break every now and then too. Oh, but my favorite was the YooHoos that they brought me for tomorrow. After we ate we went outside and I drove my tractor all over the place. I can really go fast on that thing. I looked good driving with my Cowboy hat on. Daddy even brought the sprinkler around for me to run through and that cooled me off a little bit. It sure was one fun evening, I can tell ya that for sure. But when MeMe and PawPaw were leaving I got another boo boo from the ladder. I bumped my elbow and it made a bruise right away. You know -it hurt so bad that I needed Mommy to carry me - apparently elbows are somehow connected to our legs- if you hurt them you can't walk.

I figured out how to scare Mommy....

Today, Phillip our bug man was coming to spray the house and the yard so we won't have spiders anymore. Before he came Mommy told me to go lay down for my nap while she was folding clothes. Before too long the doorbell rang. Mommy picked up Rudy and put him in the office so he wouldn't aggravate Phillip too much. He came in and started spraying and asked where I was. Mommy showed him where I was sleeping except when he went in there I was no where to be found. He told Mommy and she looked all over and couldn't find me. She immediately ran to the backyard and checked the pool- I wasn't there. Phillip started yelling for his partner outside to help look. Mommy was way way nervous and was starting to panic. Phillip told her I had to be in the house. She said I wasn't . It was really neat with all of them yelling for me....hee hee. Phillip said check the room where the dog is. Mom opened that door and two things happened. Rudy ran out and started chasing Phillip and Mommy found me under Daddy's desk. She was glad I was ok but at the same time if Phillip hadn't been at our house- I bet I would've been in some big trouble for not saying something when they were yelling at me. This is how to scare your Mom real bad. Don't try this at home!!!!

Some more things that I say

Today Papa came to watch me while Mom went to her apartments for a few minutes. I made a big mess of all the toys in my room and Papa asked me if I thought I should pick them up. I told him I probably should. He asked if Mommy helped me sometimes and I told him No, and she can be a real grouch when I don't pick them up myself. Then we were eating lunch when Mommy got home and she told me that I need to eat my hamburger before my gummy bears. I told her that I already knew that because, "I'm an expert".

Daddy made me mad tonight

and I told him I was tired of him coming home and making me "crappy". Mommy and Daddy told me that the correct word was "crabby". I said I didn't care I say "crappy". I certainly have a mind of my own.

Mommy told me that you were 33 years old today and I said, "well that means Heifer is an old, old pooer!!!!". I took your birthday card over to your house so it will be there when you get home from Georgia!!!

Whoa another wild day with the boys

at Jump Zone. I love Jump Zone as everyone knows and today I got to go with Mommy, Daddy, Dylan, Seth, Mandy, and Travis!!! We had a blast on all the huge blow ups. But, the best part was that my cousins were there to play with me. Another fun thing was Daddy and Travis playing with us too. I ought to sleep good for Mom tonight!

It was another great day...

spent at Chuck-E-Cheese!! We got up early to go before all the germs got there (that's what Mommy said anyway). Noni and Papa rode along but I had to show them the ropes since it was their first trip there. I played all kinds of games and rode a really cool truck and horse. I am still talking about the truck that leans. I loved it. Daddy and Papa played some games with me and won me some tickets. I didn't really have enough except to get a good toy though. All the fun made me hungry so when we left we went to eat. We had to go by Sam's too so Mommy could get some stuff and Daddy loves the fruit that is in the frozen bags. Yummy. I am so tired that I need to go to bed. See you later.

My sad face after being stung

by a red wasp on the face and arm. It really hurt and I cried a lot for Mommy and Daddy. Mommy and Daddy both came running but my Daddy got there first and it was stinging me while I was on my slide. Daddy got me out and ran with me into the house. My Mommy was holding me and put ice on the stings. I hurt so bad. Rudy was trying to find out what happened too. I'm a little better now but I think I need a large surprise for this. Daddy killed it and it's house too!! Thank you Daddy. It won't ever bother me again.
