Another good week at school

I got to bring the snack bucket home his week. That means that your Mommy fills it up with snacks and returns it to school the next day. Everyone loved my snack- oreos!

Also, we got to go to Mass with all the other kids on Wednesday. My teacher told Mommy that I was the only one in my class that didn't have to be corrected. You see, I know how to act in church and if I'm not good Mommy wears my little butt out when we leave. Aside from the occasional "Is it almost over yet?" I am a good boy in church.

We have been practicing for our Christmas program by singing lots of cool songs. It is really going to be neat. Santa Claus is coming for our program at church too.

This magical elf arrived at my house.

I'm calling him Michael. He showed up today after my nap while I was outside playing. He reports back to Santa each night while I am asleep. He makes it all the way to the North Pole and back to my house before I wake each morning. I am loving this and am totally mesmerized by it all. If I do something bad I will run to where the elf is and ask him if he saw/heard it. If I wake up in the middle of the night I will go look to see if he's gone. So far he has hidden on the clock, on the entertainment center, and on the curtain. I will keep you updated on where he is at- my special friend "Elf on a Shelf".

It is almost Christmas and my Birthday.....

Today is the day after Thanksgiving and apparently Mom and Dad work on decorations. Daddy got all the stuff down from the attic while Mom cleaned out a closet in the guest room. Then we put the tree up. I was super excited about it this year. I even got to help Daddy with the outside stuff. It was cold outside this morning and Mommy told me that means Santa Claus is getting ready to get presents together for good boys and girls. I will be 4 years old this Christmas. Mommy got a little emotional when hanging my special ornaments on the tree. You see, I was the first baby born on Christmas morning so Mommy and me got this super neat gift basket. It had several ornaments in it (stuffed ones) and each year Mom puts them on the tree (even though they don't match)! She says that was the best Christmas ever. Since I'm so smart this year and can understand more Mommy told me the story of how I was born on Christmas. I think that will become a tradition. I'm into making silling faces for the camera. It was hard for Mommy to get good pictures for our Christmas card.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

I woke up saying that this was a special day. And it was! Mommy, Daddy, and I lounged around till nap time. When I woke up, Noni and Papa came for a yummy Thanksgiving Dinner. Papa fried up a yummy turkey and Noni cooked a whole bunch of stuff too. Mommy made my favorite thing though- ROLLS!! We played and watched TV and then it was time for them to go home. It was a truly special day and can't wait for Christmas now.

Turkey Day Party

Today we had a Thanksgiving party at school. There were games to play and yummy cupcakes to eat. My Mommy got to come for it and I was introducing her to all of my friends. She had a good time helping me with my crafts, and playing games. I hope my friends don't eat too much Turkey.

I got to meet Zoie and Zeb today

at Aunt Sandy's house. Those are her new kitties. I love love love them and have been constantly talking about holding them. They are beautiful! They were a little scared of all the people around and Ann-Jillian and I chasing them out from under the couch didn't help. But, before we left I got to hold each one of them. I promised Mom that if I could have one just like them I would eat, keep my room clean, and go to bed without backtalking. Mom said NO! I'll put up some pics of them later okay. We celebrated Thanksgiving today and it was alot of fun. I ate some rolls and yummy ham. I have been talking about pumpkin pie for several weeks now but when it came down to it and it was orange I wouldn't eat any.... go figure.

Glow Golf

is pretty fun. You should try it sometime. After my nap we went to church, out to eat, and to Glow Golf. Mom and Daddy thought I would enjoy it and I did. They enjoyed watching me hit the ball backwards. But, you know me, I won't listen when people try to help and show me things. As usual, when Daddy tried to show me how to hold my club (I had it turned backwards) I'd say "I know how to do it by my ownself". Well, I had a good time anyway. I also got to pick out a movie on the way home. It was a great day.

I got to go to Papa's house today!!!!

I have been really mad at Papa since yesterday. Yesterday morning I asked Mom if we could go to Papa's house and she told me that he was still hunting but would be back later today. I said, "Well that is just wrong he is always hunting and trying to kill something. He should be at his house when I want to go there. It makes me sad when people aren't at their house when I want to see them." I ended up getting in trouble for going on and on about it. Mom lost her patience with me whinning. However, this morning she told me that she needed to go to Mrs. Kimberly's house to pick up my new pictures. Mom said that after school she would drop me off at Papa's while she went to get the pictures. This made me really happy. I got to ride for a little while and then BepBep came over to play. Mom took some pictures of me dressed up to use on our Christmas cards too. Noni got to run by and see me really quick cause she was at work. Thanks for the table and Play-Do Noni!

I'm a big Daddy Rooster....

I told Mom to grab the camera because I was a "big daddy rooster". She was cracking up at my outfit. In fact we were both laughing really hard while she was trying to take my picture.

This morning I surprised Mom by writing my numbers 1-5 all by myself without tracing. She was really surprised and didn't know I could do it. You see, I don't always cooperate when people try and teach me things. I will tell Mom that I don't know how to do it and she will show me. Then when she walks off I will do it all by my ownself and tell her to come look. I know all of my letters but writing them without tracing isn't going so well. Mommy will start teaching me with capital letters next week. Maybe that will help or it could be that I just need a new attitude.

My conversation with Mommy

Me: "I don't want to go to heaven unless Rudy will be there."
Mom:" Sure Rudy will be there, hopefully everyone we love will be."
Me: "Why did ya say Hopefully!?"
Mom: " Rudy will be there Luke".
Me: " Who cleans up his poop in heaven."
Mom: "I guess I will Luke."
Me: "What if he gets there first?"
Mom: "I'm not sure Luke someone will be there to clean it up."
Me: "Daddy says it is your job so I guess you better go first Mom!"

I had to go to school today

while Daddy got to be at home. You see he took off on Friday and today his work is closed so he's been home a lot. He didn't take me to school though- Mom and I did our usual routine. However, he did come with Mom to pick me up so we could all eat lunch together. We went to one of Dad's favorite places KFC. My Mom is so good about letting me and Daddy pick the places. Even though she wasn't thrilled with KFC she didn't complain. I was a little demon when we got there but I ate fairly good so there is always a bright side. Mommy and Daddy took me to the pet store after we ate but they didn't have kitties or puppies. Jilli got to come play for a little while after my nap so it was a good day!

What have I been up to?

Well, we've not been up to a whole bunch but I am staying busy. I had a great week in school last week. Friday Mom had to take me to the doctor because of my cough. She was starting to get scared it wasn't all asthma related. The doctor said I had to take some medicine but it's yummy so that's ok. I also got a big ole shot in my leg. If you ask me what kind of shot I will say that it is to keep a bug off of me. The FLU bug that is!! I didn't even cry because Mommy and the nurse were making me laugh. For being a good boy I got to go eat at Larry's Pizza Parade!

Saturday, Daddy and I went to the park and that was fun as usual. He found the right road the first try unlike Mommy who takes about 3 times. It is kinda hard to get around to but so worth it... We went to church and to eat at a new BBQ place but I like Smokehouse better and wasn't to quiet in saying so.

Sunday, Mom and I made a run to Kroger and then came back home and played with Daddy and Rudy. It was a great weekend. I love it when Daddy has extra days off to be at home with us. Mom told me that when I wake up in the morning Daddy will be here even though it is Monday.

Daddy got to take me to school today!!!!

For the first time by himself. I showed him everything even what street to turn on. He also got to witness getting me ready for school. Sometimes that isn't the best of times ya know. I hope he gets to take me to school one day again. Thanks Daddy!

Papa and I went to Laurel park

and it was pretty cold outside today. This morning Mommy asked me if I wanted to go to the park with Papa because she had to run an errand. My reply was, "Yes, that will be just fine Mama sounds like a great idea." I haven't wanted her out of my sight lately with my asthma acting up. When she mentions leaving I will say, "No, what if I need my air"? Me and Mom haven't gotten alot of sleep lately because of me having trouble breathing and coughing. It will pass just as soon as the weather stays cold though. My Mommy takes good care of me and I know it but sometimes I get real dramatic when she leaves me. I got some books at my school book fair and Papa was willing to read them to me today- thanks Papa!

My Daddy will be home tomorrow

and I will be really glad to see him. He is in Chicago for work. Today I told Mommy that the best thing about Daddy being in Chicago was that I got to eat a Kids Cuisine for lunch and dinner!! Then I told her that the other good thing was that prayer time didn't take as long. Mommy really cracked up at that one. During our prayers last night I told Mommy that it didn't take long without Daddy praying..... he he he.

I got to babysit baby Haven

for about 30 minutes. She was really missing her Mommy so we took her home. I love her and was trying to do everything that I could to make her smile. I rode my bike for her, gave her her passy, sang songs, tickled her, showed her about 50 of my toys. But, sometimes younger women can be difficult- well older women can too for that matter. I told Mommy at prayer time tonight that it would be great if we could just keep her all of the time. So, obviously her crying did not deter me from wanting to be a big brother. I am glad that Mommy snapped a photo right when we got home.

I had a great time at the gun show.

Saturday- Daddy, Papa, and I went to Little Rock to a gun show. I was excited to go and was a really good boy for them. I was ready to go after about 45 minutes but that was a long time for a little boy. When we got home we took a nap cause the girls were still out shopping. They had a good time too.

Then, we went to church and to Outback for dinner. I love the bread there and ate a whole little loaf by myself. I was a pretty good boy till the end. Noni and Papa came back to my house to play. It was a great day.
